AIR Language Unveils New Features to Enhance Student Learning Experience

The new features we are coming out with at AIR Language enhance language learning at every level.

[Aubrey, TX, USA, 8/19] — AIR Language, a platform for language learning and literacy development, is excited to announce the rollout of several new features designed to enhance the learning experience for students and empower educators with cutting-edge tools. These innovations reflect AIR Language's commitment to the Science of Reading and the ongoing development of resources that cater to diverse classroom needs.

Grounded in the Science of Reading

At the heart of our latest update is a deep commitment to the Science of Reading. AIR Language has incorporated concrete structures and methodologies that align with the Science of Reading to ensure that our platform not only meets educational standards but also fosters effective and evidence-based learning. Educators can explore these foundational principles further in our blog post, which details how our approach aligns with the five pillars of the Science of Reading.

Introducing the Picture Dictionary

To support language acquisition and vocabulary development, AIR Language has introduced a comprehensive Picture Dictionary. This feature is designed to provide visual context to words, making it easier for students, especially English learners, to grasp new vocabulary and concepts. The Picture Dictionary is available for students to use at thier own convenience, offering a seamless learning experience.

Enhanced Student Analytics

Educators can now access even deeper insights into student performance with our enhanced Student Analytics. This feature allows for detailed tracking of student progress, helping teachers identify areas of strength and opportunities for targeted intervention, including targeting state standards. The data-driven approach empowers educators to tailor instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.

Reading Conference Portal for Progress Monitoring

The new Reading Conference Portal is a game-changer for progress monitoring. This tool facilitates regular reading conferences, enabling teachers to systematically track student growth and provide personalized feedback. The portal's intuitive design ensures that educators can easily document and review student progress over time, making it an invaluable resource for improving reading outcomes.

Meet Ari, the AI Reading Tutor

AIR Language is proud to introduce Ari, our AI-powered reading tutor. Ari is designed to provide students with personalized reading support, offering real-time feedback and guidance as they work through reading exercises. This innovative tool adapts to each student's learning pace, making reading practice more engaging and effective. She is currently in the BETA stage, and will gradually improve through the course of the 2024-25 school year.

New Content Set for Gradual Release

Finally, AIR Language is excited to announce the gradual release of new content throughout the fall. This new material will include expanded reading passages that align with educational standards across all 50 states and internationally. Among those features scheduled for release, are decodable books, that are age and level appropriate for secondary students learning English, and US History books, which are written according to Michigan state standards, and scale from colonial America to the present day.

AIR Language remains dedicated to supporting educators and students with tools that are both innovative and grounded in proven educational theories.
