Juan and Jon, the Lumberjacks

Jon and Juan were Lumberjacks. They used to cut down trees for a living with a chainsaw and an ax.

It was hard work, but when they worked together, they enjoyed cutting into the trunks of trees.

When they used the chainsaw to cut the tree trunks, they made sure to be very careful. Being a lumberjack is a very dangerous job.

Juan and Jon’s job was to cut down trees that have wood that was good for building houses. This meant they carefully looked at each tree before they cut it down.

Many of these trees were too thin. Their trunks were not big enough to cut down, so Juan and Jon decided to move on.

The bark also had to be healthy. This is what healthy bark looks like.

The bark on this tree is unhealthy. They decided to not cut it down because the wood was not good for building.

Finally Jon and Juan found a tree that was good for cutting down. The bark on the trunk looked healthy.

When they looked up the tree, though, they saw many branches. It was not safe to cut down yet.

So, Jon climbed with his saw and began to cut the branches off.

He was very careful when cutting the branches. He was high in the tree, and Juan was below on the ground.

After Jon climbed down, Juan started to cut the trunk of the tree.

Then the tree started to fall down. Juan and Jon were careful to stand back.

After the tree was cut down, Juan and Jon carried the branches back to their pile. These lumberjacks worked hard.

Then, they cut the tree a little bit more. It was important to be careful when using a chainsaw.

Then, they relaxed for a bit on the trunks of their trees. It was a hard day of work, and Jon and Juan were happy.

After a long day, they took all of their tools and went home. The next day they came back with their truck to get the trees that they cut down.
