Mice and Rats
This is a rat.
And this is a mouse.
Rats and mice are similar. For example, both rats and mice have tails.
But a rat’s tail is longer than a mouse’s tail.
Mice have shorter tails than rats.
Mice have pointier noses than rats do.
A rat’s nose is more round than a mouse’s nose.
Mice also have bigger, rounder ears than rats do.
Rats have smaller ears than mice do.
The biggest difference is size. Rats can grow very large. Rats are bigger than mice.
And mice are smaller than rats.
One thing that they have in common, though, is that both make big messes.
